The lack of volume in both the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq is telling. Since September of 2012, money has simply not been flowing into stocks. The general media would have you believe that money is in fact flowing into the stock market at this time. I disagree. With such low volume in both the NYSE and DJIA we wonder how long the equity markets can continue to rally. The DJIA is trading near 5 year highs. Buying at the highs here is a risky move. Will there be large enough volume in the equity markets to push the DJIA beyond 14,000? I do not think so.
