This year’s Russian palladium sales to be the last of any scale – GFMS

Palladium’s residual fundamental surplus has now swung into a deficit due to apparent lack of Russian supplies, and may be set to stay that way. Russia controls 40% of the world’s Palladium. Palladium is used in Automotive vehicles for catalyctic converters, electronics for items like the ipad, and also in jewelry. All investments in commodities and metals come down to supply and demand. The fact is the supply of Palladium from Russia will be minimal as its inventory is very low. Demand is projected to exceed supply until 2015. Now may be a great time to invest in Palladium.
